The promise of Grand Theft Auto: Online is an intoxicating one. GTAV’s world remains one of, if not the most remarkable in gaming history, and the idea that you and a group of friends can team up and wreak havoc upon that world seems too good to be true.
To some extent, it is too good to be true. GTAO suffers from a myriad of technical issues and limitations, including ridiculous loading times, crashes, game-breaking glitches, and terrible anti-cheat. It’s like a complicated, unwieldy machine with hundreds of unseen components. If it fails, your only two options are to start from scratch, or give up.
But when it all comes together, when you finally find your friends after five minutes of loading screens and ten minutes of yelling at each other on Discord to “go here”, the experience is unparalleled. The first few hours we spent roaming the world were violent co-op magic, like a depraved, extravagant Scorcese montage with a body count that would turn eyes at the ICJ. We did missions, did drugs, blew things up, got haircuts, bought clothes, bought cars, stole cars, shot police, shot pedestrians, and of course, shot each other. Being homebound due to Covid, our at-first daily, then weekly GTA sessions kept us connected, the first time a game had done so since our short-lived Minecraft phase in March of last year.
But yesterday, as we failed the same section of the Diamond Casino Heist for about the twentieth time, one of my friends broke the silence. “Is anyone having fun?”
Several months ago, I posted a rant on this subreddit about the singleplayer, bemoaning its weak story, poor gunplay, unnoticeable progression, and surprisingly empty open-world. I stand by what I wrote, perhaps even more so now that I see how much more compelling GTAV could have been if it had included online’s heists, vehicles, and properties as DLC.
That said, online is not without fault. While there’s a massive catalogue of things to buy, the grinding necessary to purchase these things is awful, making even Cookie Clicker feel productive. GamesRadar says the Heists, which themselves require expensive properties and a substantial initial investment to initiate, net you about 400k an hour, which isn’t all that much considering how much vehicles and properties cost.
We realized early on that the disparity between GTAO’s prices and its payouts was a manufactured pain point, the remedy being the game’s overpriced Shark Cards. Rather than dig out our wallets, we abided by GTA’s longstanding moral tradition and hacked ourselves enough money to buy every car, every property, and every weapon in the game. But even without the grind to worry about, GTAO had no qualms with wasting our time. The loading screens are the most obvious example of this, but these are, I believe, unavoidable given the scope of what you’re loading into. Where it’s less forgivable is in the tedious minutiae and the absence of systems that should be present.
The more we played, the more frustrated I became. Why can I only fast travel to my properties as a CEO? Why can’t I claim all destroyed vehicles at once? Why can’t I skip these stupidly long cutscenes? Why do I have to wait to spawn in a vehicle? In a way, it makes the same mistake as its singleplayer counterpart. Though it has incredible setpieces that you won’t find in any other game, the vast majority of your time is spent preparing for them.
I don’t believe games should have infinite longevity, so I don’t fault GTAO for losing its sheen after eighty-some hours. Overall, I had a good time. Tearing through hordes of cops in a pink Insurgent. The terrific Pacific Standard Heist. Getting picked up by my friend in a disgusting anime car that he claimed wasn’t his. Being repeatedly stalked and kidnapped over the course of several weeks by a hacker named “JOE BIDEN” who’d drive me around the map at light speed and drop boats on my head as I’d try to flee. And above all, having the opportunity to hang out with my friends during a pandemic. These are all experiences I’ll remember.
The hours I spent in loading screens, driving from one side of the map to the other for the hundredth time, and listening to Lester talk about skinny dipping? I’ll remember those too, though nowhere near as fondly.

GTA is missing something and here’s my solution

GTA is so fun because of your ability to cause chaos and start shit shows but I feel like it’s missing something, and I have an idea for how that can work.
Basically my idea is that the game has become more peaceful and true unadulterated chaos is more rare to see. You’ll see the occasional jet griefer but as a whole you don’t see people having fun just blowing stuff up anymore like you did in the old days.
So my idea is called chaos points
Chaos points are a weekly thing that rotate a wheel of redeemable items or abilities that can be purchased, so every week there’s a different thing available and that said thing will not be available again for some time until it goes back in shuffle.
Here’s how they work.
When you get a wanted level, every minute you survive is worth 10 chaos points, and this multiplies for every level of star you have.
Wanted levels from missions, sales, jobs, etc. DO apply, but only at 1/10 efficiency. So 1 minute in freeplay is 10 minutes of grinding, this is to encourage people to actually mess around and have fun the old fashioned way and not try to maximize earnings or whatever. You also get chaos points for kills, which are once again at 1/10 efficiency in jobs.
PVP jobs and heists are the exception, because these are meant to be fun activities. So kills on those specific jobs will award double points every other kill or every other minute, so you’d basically end up with about 1.5x chaos points.
Chaos points show up as a little number just like RP, it would be a little CHP bubble upon a successful trigger of a chaos point
You can store up some chaos points for the next week, but you can never have more than 5000 CHP at once. The reason is because the items you can redeem CHP for is about 3k CHP. So it protects people from over grinding if they can only have 5k. Which is exactly enough for 1 items and 2/3 of the way there for the next item them want to buy.
So here’s the various ways to get chaos points
NPC kills
Every hostile NPC kill you get will range from 1 to 4 points, needing 10 hostile NPCs to get a point if doing this in a mission or job or what have you. Points are awarded based on the “fun factor” of the kill. Only hostile NPCs that are currently aggroed onto you count toward this.
Anyway, that’s like 750 NPC kills to get 3000 points, which is achievable if you consistently are going on tank rampages or whatever but you’re unlikely to want to do that in one sitting.
Player Kills
These work the same way, except you’d receive 3, 6, and 12 points respective to the individual categories. This is to encourage player vs player interaction. Plus pvp against real players just requires more skill to begin with. You would not however receive points for killing players who are doing free mode events or sales or anything. I don’t think there should be any extra incentive to be mean to people who just won’t to grind.
This would mean 250 player kills to get 3k CHP. Which isn’t bad, I probably get 25 in a single playing session if I’m feeling like PvPing so if I wanted to grind that I bet I could get that done in a weeks worth of play
Some absolute bottom of the barrel cheap tactics will not award anything, like for instance orbital cannons, kills using the mk2 homing missiles (free sim missiles are fine), killing the same player more than 4 times in a 2 minute period, using a weaponized vehicle (aside from plane bombs) on players who aren’t, killing players on the AFK timer, etc.
I’m not saying to straight PUNISH these people, let them play the game how they want, but they just wouldn’t get to use those methods of killing to earn CHP. If they want free kills they can just fight npcs this way. If they just want the kill that’s fine but it should take some level of skill to grind out your CHP
PvP completion
After completing an adversary mode or death match, you will receive 100 chaos points as winner or 20 as loser.
This, as I mentioned, is 1.5x player kills, so you’d need about 167 high quality PVP kills in a week, plus the bonus you get for winning. So now reaching 3k points is seeming pretty achievable, because if you consistently win 50% of the time with an average 9 base level kills per round, that’s like 30 rounds of play to reach 3k points. That’s totally doable. Way more so than just free mode, so maybe people would actually play those pvp modes if it was good for grinding
Races
You get 1 point per checkpoint plus 50% of your score for finishing the race in its entirety without DNFing, and you double this amount for receiving first place with at least 2 other opponents finishing
So if you finish 67 of a 68 checkpoint race you get 67 points and that’s 45 of those races to get 3000.
If you finish that last checkpoint you’re looking at 22 races
And if you consistently finish first that’s only 11 races, perfectly doable
Heist completion
You will receive a bonus 50 chaos points per completion rank. So bronze gets 50, silver 100, etc.
Completing a heist challenges will double any and all points gotten on the heist. So if you got 200 points between the heist and the completion ranks, you’d get 400 when it’s all said and done if you did the elite challenge. Or 800 if you got a first time bonus with that. Stuff like that.
So in theory, just by setting up and finishing prison break with all platinum and an elite (thats 4 setups and an elite challenge finale) you get 1200, over a third of the way to 3k
That’s also perfectly doable
Be warned! You will not receive as much CHP if you are not playing with other players. The whole point of the idea is having fun with other players by competing or playing with them. So if you do a 1 man Cayo perico, that will only be 50 points as a completion award instead of 200 because there’s not 4. Plus casino and cayo only give completion awards for the finale anyway so grinding those is less efficient.
It’s a fair balance since those heists are so good for money but not chaos point grinding whereas doomsday and the apartment heists are really good for CHP
Spending
CHP spending would have about 5 items per week, they cannot be bought for money, ONLY CHP. Costing 3000 CHP each, which means it might take a long while to get it but you can certainly get it done in a whole weeks worth of time if you care enough
The types of things you’d see on the list would be in the same vein as the following, obviously there would be much more. Like 20x the amount of suggestions I have down below. But these are just some ideas I had for the types of things you’d buy.
The way these work is when you’re actually customizing an item you’d find an option that wasn’t previously there, kinda like how holiday horns will show up then disappear.
As you can see, these are all mainly free mode items that make messing around more fun:
This works by allowing you to put KERS on a zentorno for instance, or a kuruma, cars like that. This is not a strong boost like the f1 cars more like the Lectro KERS. It would be incompatible with the most elite cars of the division like the pariah in sports for instance, but in compatible cars like the T20 in supers for instance you’d be able to use this weak KERS boost in races.
This ONLY unlocks it on the car you buy it for, you have to buy it again to put it on another car
Like the previous suggestion, you pay the fee and then it unlocks the glass on that ONE specific car you bought it for. It’s the kind that takes several shots to break. You can put this on the specific armored cars that don’t have it, such as the insurgent or nightshark, or the side windows of the halftrack, or on arena wars windows, etc. not just any car only armored ones
These would be double whatever your hard mode pay is set to, so instead of how hard mode pays out 1.5x on the apartment heists this would be 3x, or on doomsday it pays 1.25x this would be 2.5x
Extreme mode would only be unlocked on the individual heist you pay for, and it would be incompatible with casino or cayo perico. Which is in part because that’s OP and also, you can’t really set the difficulty for those game modes in the first place.
as for difficulty, You’d have 0 lives, auto aim works like free aim assisted did back in the day, npcs have doomsday act 3 AI, and the weapon you choose to start with is the only gun you have in the entire heist unless the mission requires you to use something in addition such as a flare gun. No snacks or body armor.
As a cherry on top, all stats are reset to base levels regardless of if you maxed them out, and stats like gun recoil, bullet spread, aircraft turbulence, are increased
Your ammo resets back to max every check point reached, meaning that if you so choose to do this mission using special ammo types you won’t be screwed when you run low on ammo
Setups on extreme mode will pay the host as compensation for the difficulty, otherwise people would do setups on easy exclusively which wastes a lot of the point
This would be like a halloween week item. You’d have the jump, and the super punches like director mode. Just no invisibility, access to guns, or access to vehicles like you can in the free mode event. Your health is 3x normal and you heal double speed up to full health.
Fun thing to mess around with but you need to consider it’s not really OP, as some dude with a pistol could 1 hit you. It’s much more like being a walking arena war issi than anything.
You’d be able to buy these in the character appearance menu. They would be 99% cosmetic but a few animations might have some utility to them given the fact they make your character move different
You could buy, say a thief animation set which lets you have a Franklin lock pick animation, you could sneak in a full crouch.
You could buy a cowboy moveset, which replaces the animations with the red dead animations where they fit, so you’d do a slide rather than a roll, you run different, you have different fight moves. The tackle or choke animations wouldn’t transfer I imagine but maybe they could be used as the stealth takedowns for this moveset
Last item idea I have for you today will be:
This works kind like the skydive cheat animation mixed with the oppressor mk1 glide. Basically you hold your arms out, there would be flaps between your arms from the suit, and you’d be able to glide off of buildings and land in a roll. The suit would be unable to access certain vehicles such as motorcycles
So as you guys can see, it would be worth it to save up for the featured items, but at the same time it’ll be very difficult to buy more than 2 per week and you’ll have to wait a long time before it’s back in the CHP cycle
Impact
The most fun parts of the game, like pvp, or heisting would be played more. You’d see more people in planes fighting other people in planes rather than in planes getting cheap kills off level 2s. Sure you’d see some of that but it’s just gonna encourages more even playing field battles. Like maybe you’d see more tank fights and less jet griefing if the pvp community were focused on unlocking the new Chaos Point item instead of just leveling up their KD
Heisting would be more fun, having a goal behind it instead of just getting more money to buy more nothing.
Late game players would have something to grind toward, because they can’t just buy whatever items they want. They need to actually play the game, in fact it’s IMPOSSIBLE to save up a ton of CHP and you’re forced to play the game.
It also adds a bit of rpg mechanics, like unlocking the rare and exclusive special items and stuff. I feel like there’s a little bit of that like RP rank unlocks and stuff but it’s not enough to keep late game players interested. So having cycle based unlocks that it’s REALLY hard to unlock all at once could solve this issue

Every Major Issue With GTA 5 Online

Okay let's just get this straight, GTA 5 and Rockstar sucks doodoo. They are milking the living hell out of this game, there are way too many issues that could easily be handled, and the community is the worse than every other game combined. With that being said, I have constructed a small list of every major issue (that I could come up with) in GTA 5 Online.

  1. Sharkcards
The sharkcards are shit to put it mildly, they are expensive, they are pointless and anybody who buys them should be forced to drink dog piss.

  1. Oppressor Mk II
Ah yes, the vehicle of the giefers. The Oppressor Mk II is so OP where it ranks #1 in all tier lists. I'll bet you $200 that you can ask any developer, staff member or anybody who has ever worked at Rockstar during the development of GTA 5 and they will say that they have not ever created a more powerful monstrosity than this. It’s a flying bike with missiles, it can’t get any better.
  1. Connection issues
I pay for the best internet distributor in my country, yet every 45 minutes my game freezes and I get kicked to story mode. How in the flying fuck does a game that costs 265 million to make, and earned over 6 BILLION dollars since its release not have the ability to get their fucking servers to properly work or get some that actually work.
  1. Modders
There are 4 types of modders.
  1. The one who uses mods for personal gain.
  2. The one who uses mods to ruin other peoples experiences.
  3. The one who uses mods to help other players.
  4. The one who doesn’t even fucking use them.
Which one do you think is the most common one? Of course it’s the 2nd one. Which takes me to the next point.

5. Anti-Cheat System
I would like for you to tell me how many times you have heard of seen a modder get banned? If you’re like most people, you would say 0, if you have seen 1 or more, count yourself lucky because the anti-cheat system is as productive as my 2 inch penis in the bed. It doesn’t work properly and I’m not the only person to say that.

6. Chat Censorship
The game is rated M for mature, it’s intended for adult audiences, there is absolutely no reason for censorship to exist in this game. If you are able to put a strip club, murder, gore, torture, robberies, extreme violence and “ghosts” in a game, you should be able to put in 2 swear words into your fucking message when typing a goddamn sentence in a public or private session.

7. Vehicle Prices
This point is kind of connected to point 1 regarding sharkcards. There are a variety of vehicles for purchase in GTA Online, boats, cars, motorcycles, planes, helicopters, anything you can get your hands on. There are up to 464 vehicles in GTA 5 online, and around 15% of them costs over 2 million dollars, that is 32 dollars, 31% of the vehicles costs over 1 million dollars, which is $20 in sharkcards and 48% of all vehicles costs over 500k, which is about $10. This means that almost half of all vehicles in GTA online costs you a total of 10 DOLLARS TO BUY. The afterhours DLC costs about 6.2 times as much as the original game does.
8. Arena Wars
That one bitch, Bryony or whatever, keeps calling basically everybody who hasn’t bought a workshop for the stupid ass Arena Wars. The award is pathetic, being a level 20-50 and playing Arena Wars is like a kid being bullied at their first day of school, but the kid being 6 and the bullies being 24. It’s rocket league in GTA 5, it’s just another cash grab. It’s just like freeroam but with a smaller map and with worse rewards. It’s just amazing how the DLC could fail so quickly.

9. Guns
Widowmaker is the main issue with this. It's cheap for its power, it's a laser gun with a rate of fire faster than me losing my will to live after playing this god forsaken game.
10. Community Behavior
You cannot go 20 minutes without getting shot by another griefer, modder or general assholes who you haven’t done any harm to. The community is filled with people insulting each other, griefing, being assholes and not knowing how to show respect to each other. It has come to the point where the Discord is 80% made only for community assistance. Just got killed by a guy 37 fucking times because I quit his heist when he started trolling. It was like 20-37 because I didn't want to fucking fight him, and for some goddamn reason he got 2 of his fucking friends to help me. Ain't nobody want 2 oppressors and a Hydra on their asses.

11. Heists
It has gone 7 years as of the creation of this document, yet we only have like 8 heists in GTA online, the Casino Heist, the Doomsday Heist, Series A Funding, Humane Labs, Prison Break, Fleeca, Pacific Standard and whatever. 80% of the time you get teamed with people who cannot communicate, are toxic and disrespectful or leave early or late-heist.

12. Load Times
The load times in GTA Online is worse than Loading Screen Simulator. For the people with extremely good internet like me, it takes about 7-9 minutes to load. A friend of mine who had a mid-tier connection had to wait for 24 minutes to get into the actual game. If you tab out it will “load” perpetually, meaning that it shows it as loading but it doesn’t do jackshit.

13. Phone Calls
I have bought a high-end apartment, nightclub, facility, vehicle warehouse, office, money factory, MC club, basically a majority of the things purchasable, yet I constantly get phone calls to buy more. This is not only about purchasing properties either, it’s Lester, Bryony, Tony, everybody who spam calls you to do shit. When you’re in a call you can’t jump, aim, equip guns, shoot. Fucking Maude and the treasure hunts as well, the rewards are insulting. I do not want to randomly kill people, I do not want to spend 15 minutes trying to find a treasure that 25% of the time doesn’t even exist.

Tell me if there are any other issues, which wouldn't surprise anybody because this game has gone to absolute shit, and I will edit the post.

How GTA Online turned from a great game to a complete money syphoning clusterf*ck

Don't get me wrong, I still love to play GTA Online to this day but it disapoints me what it turned to and how it changed alot since 2013 into much worse.
Let's talk about online connectivity which is main problem. It takes literally 15 minutes just to get kicked back to SP due Rockstar's crappy P2P online which in-hand is one reason why whole lobby becomes buggy and glitchy when somebody joins with terrible connection. Rockstar hasn't also bothered to improve that and their cloud servers that fail every evening. Just to top it off with infinite loading screens that occur very often causing players to totally reboot their game and waste of more of their time just for game to be stuck at loading screen again.
Futurization has improved the game and extended its lifespan but gave griefers and tryhards new toys to fuck with low levels, afk players basically everyone on lobby. Some of futuristic vehicles were great and helped people defend themselves and grind faster and better but some completely ruined freemode such as Oppressor MK2 (not a bad vehicle at all, actually one of best grinding vehicles, the only problem are people who abuse it to kill everybody in lobby).
Orbital cannon has indeed really ruined freemode and grinding forever. Just imagine this, you're selling 111 crates of special cargo in public session probably to avoid super accurate NPC I'm gonna talk about later, and all that hard work just to be blown up by some kid ducking in his facility spending money he got from his mommy's credit card. There's no occasion and awareness to know when you're gonna get orbed unless you're checking for people who are in facilities. People might say that 750k to kill somebody is balanced, uhmmm not. People can just leave immediatly after they orb someone and rejoin back with their money still there and no cooldown at all. And problem is, it cannot be patched cause it's cloud server exploit. Great job Rockstar !!!
Glitches are also one big problem GTA has been struggling. I don't have anything against people who glitch their money but people who glitch to be un-killable or to destroy somebody's cargo immediatly are worst. There are glitches that let you go godmode and ones that let you teleport which have not been patched for years. There are also glitches that completely ruin your game such as Titan glitch and are also left alone for years. Rockstar clearly ignores these glitches and patches ones that are harmless and money making just to save Shark Card sales. It's incredible to see game company having their mouth full open for money. They became too greedy even more than EA and Activision combined together.
Talking about patching glitches, Rockstar has double standards when it comes to releasing hotfixes. Remember duffel sale bag mission ?? It had one very rare bug that was able to be fixed easy but what Rockstar did ??? They completely removed the mission leaving us stuck with terrible missions such as Post Op van one. They bugged Bombushka cargo door after seeing players use it for grinding and patched the Avenger crate glitch only because players made boring and repetitive 3 crate mission faster !!! They also made hotfix to Casino Heist adding rock in middle of nowhere. They blocked vault door and added additional guards on race track after noticing people finishing casino heist fast. They have also patched gender change glitch which was just changing character gender for 100k !!! They have done alot more but I'm not gonna mention anymore harmless things patched.
When it comes to cargo-griefing, that's what annoys me. Rockstar is completely PROMOTING cargo griefing to players just so they can increase their shark card sales. When you try to defend yourself, you lose 10k and get badsport, but griefer gets only 2k after destroying 1 mil goods. Rockstar actually supports that acting unaware about many players complaining about cargo griefing. This is not how you gain playerbase Rockstar, this is just how you lose them in matter of a seconds.
Anti-cheat system is almost to non-existent. People can easily bypass the anti-cheat system and bomb lobbies by using mod menus. Those also get away with bans when innocent players get their characters reset for no reason. How in the hell can you let modders have fun destroying the game while innocent players are just trying to play the way it's meant to be played ??? Talking about casino chips glitch bans, isn't Rockstar overreacting too much ?? Players exploit your game to get money due to boring, terrible and repetitive grinding. Instead of patching the glitch, you go out and ban everybody who just gets penny from it ?!?!? I'm never gonna understand.
AI is another lazy-developed thing with this game. NPC's have ridicously good aim, rapid fire and sped up animations making every mission pain in the ass. Not only that, they'll even manage to headshot you blinding firing or from very far distance. What about traffic AI also ? It seems like that they're programmed to crash into you everytime you're doing I/E. Has Rockstar even tested their game before releasing not knowing about problems that will occur ?? Probably not...
And last but not least, overpriced items. This has angered many players causing them to buy shark cards so you can get money. Why the hell supercar that's gonna be used once costs +2 mil. Why the hell bodysuits and even more irrelevant clothes cost +300k. Why do many vehicles that are already expensive need to have even more expensive paywalls ??? Well two words, shark cards. Arena update was pretty much worst serving as Rockstar's money laundering scheme due to terribly overpriced items and vehicles. Isn't 1.4 mil for RC car too much ??
Bonus thing we have is Casino resort. Rockstar just dropped the ball with it as they PROMOTED GAMBLING !!!! You can get in-game money with real money, then convert that money into chips you're gonna lose in matter of seconds cause whole Casino is rigged to boost up shark card sales. That is in-game gambling being almost the same as REAL gambling. No wonder Casino is blocked in half of the world countries.
This is gonna be the end of my opinion. There are much more things to cover but this feels already more than enough needed. Read this and get it to yourself that Rockstar became what they parodied about in past.

GTA 6 Ideas #5

I have been trying to improve this list from people's feedback, so if there is something you think should be on here or something that shouldn't let me know
  1. Being able to grab people and put them in the trunk of your car, Like in Sleeping Dogs.
  2. Being able to download and play games on your phone and consoles in your house like GTA San Andreas along with arcade machines like GTA 4.
  3. Having a dedicated map app on your phone or GPS in your car instead of in the hud for a cleaner look.
  4. Being able to buy houses and apartments in single player.
  5. Being able to buy pets and look after them (like chop) but you can also have Cats, Birds & More plus be able to own multiple pets.
  6. Destructible buildings that get repaired overtime.
  7. More vehicles alongside cars, push bikes, motorbikes, planes, helicopters and boats. Like skateboarding, surfboarding, horse riding and wingsuiting.
  8. Bring back fast food places and Gyms along with the ability to get fat by eating at fast food places & skinny by working out at the gym.
  9. Being able to surrender past 1 star and getting sent to prison or get busted and sent to prison, If you go to prison, you have to spend 10 real minutes in there. Once the time is up you are free to leave or you can stay and do prison activities like starting a gang or working out and even doing missions for inmates for rep. Make it an optional thing in the settings.
  10. Being able to go to the airport and travel to other countries, maybe like being able to go to Liberty City, Vice City and Los Santos.
  11. Music/radio on your phone, so u can listen to music when your walking.
  12. Be able buy different phones, like starting with a flip phone and then when you get more money you can buy smartphones.
  13. Bring back the Paramedic, Firefighter, and Vigilante (Police) missions again.

Below is a list of common submissions and topics that are now banned from the discussion space on gtaonline, this list is vast and very broad right now given the state the of subreddit, but we'll probably unban and/or loosen our grip on memes and topics as time goes on, but that's only if users like you bring a new angle or discussion point when it comes to a particular subject.

-Rule 1 Continued - Content Submissions That Will Result in Immediate Removal:
-Discussions related to the Oppressor often fall into two camps, where one group likes it because it helps grinders, and the other group despise it for it's toxic nature. for two straight years that has been the discussion about the Oppressor, and we doubt that the range of conversation related to the vehicle is going to be expanding anytime soon.

-Hating tryhards and greifers is equivalent to hating people who kick very small, fragile, cute animals. It's not a controversial position to dislike toxic individuals, and if anything, the relentless whining and complaining around these players only emboldens them more to just to get a reaction out of you chumps. This also extends to K/D ratio and EWO.

-If this subbreddit was developer supported like the likes of FortNiteBR, where the devs can talk and communicate with the community about ideas for the game or improving issues with the game, then this complaining wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately that is not the case, and whining about expensive prices for vehicles and properties is some secret plot to sell more Sharkcards is a reasonable observation but falls on deaf ears. No one at Rockstar is getting owned by your epic may-may about how the servers are trash, so save your breath and avoid the ban.

-Y'all know who I'm talking about, no amount of trolling, petitions, or stupid memes is going to make him go away. Most if not all of his base of viewers are not subscribed, they're casual watchers who probably are not deeply invested in GTA Online like the rest of us, so there's not much one can do to prevent him from accruing views besides NOT giving him any attention. Remember that there's no such thing as bad publicity.

-Let's get the record straight, while it's true that Rockstar sees the potential of GTA Online for the cash cow that it is; that doesn't necessarily correlate with the fact that GTA 6 hasn't been announced yet for the next generation. RDR2 was released just nearly 2 years ago, and game development is more complex then ever before. The reason why Rockstar was able to deliver yearly games was the fact that 3 of the 5 console releases of GTA were running on the same engine, from 2001. The GTA 6 discourse is less "discussion" and more "hate-jerking," therefore we see the topic as invaluable clutter discussion.

-Finally in a list too large to cover in detail, here is an album of 30 unique images and submissions that have been circulated on the subreddit since it's inception. These memes are been beaten to death like our good friend Johnny Klebitz at the beginning of Trevor's story arc. A general rule of thumb for interested posters in our subreddit: If you see a gta meme on a platform that is not reddit, there's a 110% percent chance that meme has already been featured on gtaonline.

-Many missions both in story mode and in online take place, under, inside, and on top of the tower, and while it wouldn't be impossible for Rockstar to remove these missions, the simple truth of the matter is that Rockstar wanted a construction set piece in Los Santos, it was never meant to be finished. Besides, in game story lore states that the tower wasn't being built fast enough because construction was purposely trying to get contract extensions to get more money out of the investors.

-Rockstar has stated multiple times that the what makes a GTA game a GTA game is the dynamic of criminal versus police, cops and robbers, and much less a cops and robbers DLC was explicitly stated by Rockstar to never happen because it conflicts with the core dynamic of the game.

-I'm unaware of how large GTA Online's dev team is; but it most certainly isn't large enough to add an entire fucking map to a 7 year old game, much less an online game. These are not realistic suggestions, it's all just the community hyping itself up for speculation, which is not valuable discussion.

-Fun ideas for sure, but these have been suggested multiple times, and will probably never occur.

-So help me god if one of you neanderthals suggest this fucking idea again i'll personally find you and rip off your head and shit down your neck. Either spin the wheel and remember when you spun it or not spin it at all because the sheer volume of these posts vastly surmount that of actual change on Rockstar's end of the bargain.

-Rockstar has never even dabbled with servers dynamics before, what makes you think that they're going to change that now?

In Summary of The Rule 1 Discipline
-To round off the what the Mod Discipline will be for rule 1, if you don't want your posts removed or even for you to get banned, just use a little more brain power than what your using right now. There's plenty to talk about the game without having to conform to broad community topics.

Rule 2 - Be Respectful
-This is as simple as it comes, but it has to be stated, don't be a dick to other users on the subreddit. If for example you see someone posting a picture of the new car they won at the podium wheel, don't write a 5 paragraph essay on why they should have been aborted for posting their lucky break at the casino wheel. Instead, just report it and move on. And if you see anyone else giving another a hard time, do your duty and report toxic users, this is a safe community and we want to celebrate GTA Online for everyone, not scare people away for pedantic reasons.

Rule 3 - Use Appropriate Flair
-Use the correct flair, we never had a problem with it before, so lets keep it that way.

Rule 4 - Use Descriptive Titles
-Many of the posts that we have to moderate come in the form of questions, many of these question often lack any direction whatsoever, "Best Business?" or "How to do Casino Heist" leave lots to the imagination, and likewise people who are googling answers to their GTA Online inquiries also benefit from descriptive Reddit titles. In short, make good titles, otherwise your post is out.

Rule 5 - Suggestion Posts
-Suggestion posts must contain some initial discussion by the OP, preferably in the form of a text post. Images can be linked in the post content but cannot comprise the entirety of your post. "DAE want this vehicle" posts should be posted as comments in the Weekly Simple Question thread.

Warzone lobbies

I wish there were lobbies with different balancing specifically for combat. You wouldn’t gain or lose popularity or supplies, you wouldn’t get raided, you wouldn’t have to worry about any money making activities

Money making/spending dynamic

It’s just one continuous battlefield. You destroy someone’s car, you don’t get charged. You cannot make money in the game mode by conventional means HOWEVER freemode competitions, distinctly different from the ones in multiplayer will allow you to
For instance if you have a K/D 1 full mark higher than everyone else in the lobby for a full 15 minutes, you get a 30k bonus, for 30 minutes it becomes 90k, or if you kill that person you get 25k. Just random rewards for getting kills or not getting killed.
Maybe every player would get objectives reset on the hour for how to get kills, like “kill a player with a vehicle, kill a player using a pistol at a range of greater than 50m, kill a player who’s using bull shark testosterone”
Completing each individual objective gives you some chump change but the player could earn maybe 80k for completing all 3 depending on player level.
Combat Mechanics
For this reason, after a while, you might want to call your mechanic for your kuruma for 21 points, or unlock access to lester for 20 points.

Progression

If this game mode had no progression it’d be pretty boring
I think the game shouldn’t have true progression like ranking up, but I think it’d be a good touch if players with the highest K/D get recognized at the end of the bonus week. Top 20 players get 10 million, top 1% get a million, top 10% get 200k, etc
With some other unique bonuses like everyone who gets top 1% unlocks a brand new livery, or top 5% earners get all of the optional preps for a casino heist completed, or they get to choose their next casino heist loot, maybe their next business upgrade is free.
The weeks bonuses would get announced on Twitter and would essentially be considered part of a weeks bonuses, maybe twitch prime users could even get additional benefits like if normal players only get optional preps skipped twitch prime players get all their setups skipped

Cheating on GTA Online is OK... only in one case

WARNING Cheating is NEVER good, especially in Online games. I do not condone cheating, I condemn it. I've never cheated in any game I played. For me a Ban is just the tip of the iceberg of the "punishment" a cheater should face. There is only one time when I condone cheating. When cheating solves a problem the developer won't fix. This is one of those times.
Finding a cheater on a random public GTA Online session is pretty common, that's nothing new. Mostly, though, they would just do a "Money Drop" and not being harmful to people who doesn't want to join them in their cheating. Money is needed and GTAO's items have ridiculous prices let alone the Shark Cards. Glitching is another way of cheating. It can make you invincible; it can gives you more money without using "Mod Menus" and people are doing all of that. They're called Glitchers. But I'm not here to talk about them. I'm here to talk about another type of cheater, the ones I call "Ruiners".
On 01/22 I wrote a ticket to R* Support. That day I was starting the 4th Heist, Series A. Due to people suddenly leaving I have restarted Series A - Coke, the first prep mission something like 5 times. On the 6th time I unintentionally and unexpectedly had a cheater in the team, to which I will refer from now on as "Ruiner". How do I know? Well... You have to divide in teams in that prep and the characters' models were continuously behaving like an NPC who's nearly been shot. You could hear, in fact, infinite non-damaging explosions. It was like an infinite loop. I didn't give it enough attention and I started the prep, thinking about a rare bug occurring on that specific heist. Boy was I wrong. As you know, the heist takes place on a different session than the freeroam one. So it took just some seconds for the Ruiner to cheat every possible weapon he could on me, at least. I don't know if he gave weapon to the other two players in the team. I'm not sure if he could give them to everyone in the session with just a single option. He left and we were transported back in Freeroam. I waited for Ron's text, I teleported to my apartment and I restarted the prep. I had to wait 20 minutes to find another team and begin. I jumped on one of my teammate car and we went to take the boat. I wanted to be ready to attack, so I opened the Wheel and I discovered a lot of weapons I had yet to buy or that I wouldn't ever buy. That made me furious enough, so I finished the prep with me thinking the enemies were that player. After it's conclusion I closed and reopened the game, but the weapons were still there. Fortunately I spawn in my Bunker, where I have the Gun Locker, so I thought "Let's hide them" but... no. Apparently I can't hide nor drop the weapon the Ruiner gave me. I couldn't even hide the Combat Pistol I regularly bought and the Navy Revolver from the Los Sanos Killer. Seeing I couldn't fix the problem myself, I wrote that ticket, asking to remove those weapons due to them being forcefully given to me buy an unknown player using cheats. This is where everything starts.
On 01/23, R* answered on the ticket... They merged it with another one I made about a totally different problem I had while helping someone else on a Casino Heist prep. In that ticket, one of R* Support asked for a video of the problem I'm having. It's obvious for anyone that I don't have a video of the Ruiner's cheating, so I made a video showing I can't hide those weapons.
On 01/24, R* responded asking to clarify if I want them to remove the weapons or if I have problem with weapons, while I clearly stated in the previous messages that "I want to remove the weapon"
On 01/25, I received the first official answer "We can't delete in-game items". I then asked if they would be able to refund me for everything I bought so that I can "manually copy" the things in my character to a newly-created one, so that I wouldn't have problems with the cheated weapons.
On 01/26, I had to explain everything I asked from the beginning (while I begun thinking "Haven't they read the tickets") 'cause the answer I got was about the Casino Heist prep problem and not about the last comment I wrote. I supposed he's ignored it, since he hasn't talked about the weapons.
On 01/27, they asked again for a video I've already linked them. I responded repeating once again that I can't hide the weapons that the Ruiner gave me but that I have found a plausible solution. I had to look into it since I wasn't so sure about that possibility. As a Game Dev myself I've thought about one particular thing. If a cheat is able to give weapons, then there should be one that can remove them. It all hangs together nicely, doesn't it? Anyone might have thought about it. So I asked if they would give me permission to use a cheat to remove the weapons.
On 01/28, I decided to "rage quit" the ticket after this copy-pasted answer: "I understand your concern regarding weapons however we do not support cheat and we won't suggest using cheat to hide/remove the weapon. For compensation, if you delete the character, we will not be able to provide compensation."
Long story short, I'm stuck with weapons that a Ruiner forcefully gave me via cheating that I can't hide using a Locker due to them not being regularly purchased, weapons that R* don't want to remove nor refund me for. It's their fault. They ban players using money glitches or dropping money and they won't help people getting rid of the damage made by a Ruiner, nor they won't allow the user himself/herself to fix it. I just hope the cheat check is not able to recognize I haven't bought the weapon, otherwise I would be the banned one, even if I haven't done anything wrong in the game.
Cheating on GTA Online is OK... only when you give other players weapons they don't have. Thanks for your attention. Suggestion, advises and corrections are welcome.

Solo money making guide for new and well set players.

I've got this cool solo money making guide I tried and tested.

What businesses you'll need.
Recommended locations (For players who don't have the businesses yet).
If you already own the businesses and properties then you don't have to change from your current locations, except maybe moving your MC Businesses to Sandy Shores if it's in Paleto Bay or Elysian Islands/Terminal and moving your Bunker to Chumash or Farmhouse. This is mainly for players who are looking to buy those properties and businesses.
Note: This is my personal opinion. If you think there's another better location or disagree, then let me know why that's better.
If you already have multiple Special cargo small, medium or large warehouses then stick with the ones you have.
Vehicles you'll need.
1. Buzzard.
2. Bati 801RR.
3. Oppressor MK II (Optional).
4. Cargobob (Optional).
6. Post Op vans (Optional).

The main money making guide tips and steps.

I recommend doing the steps in a solo public session.
This is not only to avoid griefers and tryhards but this guide may spread to the popular GTA online money grinding youtubers such as TheProfessional, Tylerious or maybe even Ghilliemaster and this guide may get very popular that more players will be doing this guide so most likely someone else will be doing a Terrorbyte mission, Sightseer, Headhunter or any other VIP work. See GTA Online Mega Guide thread on how to go in a solo public lobby. Or you can just keep finding a new session until you're in a solo public lobby or in a session your happy with full of friendly players who don't do Terrorbyte client missions, Sightseer and Headhunter. If you want to do the Casino Heist or other jobs then set your MTU back to 1500 otherwise you can't join a heist or other activities with low MTU.
Get the Arcade with the Master Control Terminal.
The Master Control Terminal allows you to buy supplies in one building instead of having to fly to different businesses to resupply. However sell product from the actual businesses location because if you sell from the Master Control Terminal then you'll have to drive or fly to that business to begin selling which could cost valuable time.
Before you start the steps. (If you have a Nightclub).
If you have a nightclub and five technicians then put them on Cargo/Shipments (Hanger), Sporting goods (Bunker), South American imports (Cocaine), Pharmaceuticals (Meth) and Cash Creation (Counterfeit cash). Once Pharmaceuticals and Cash Creation is full then move those technicians to Organic Produce (Weed) and Printing and Copying (Document Forgery). Ignore this part if you don't have a nightclub.
Business battles (Optional).
If your in a lobby with three other players and a business battle starts. You can collect the crate or vehicle with the crates. Once you finished, delivering the product to your nightclub then continue what your doing.
Make sure your nightclub popularity is full. (Optional)
You can make a small profit with the nightclub safe. At any time in the steps if your nightclub popularity is full in the pre step and the the game tells you your safe is $20,000 just go back to your nightclub and book another DJ to make the nightclub popularity full again and wait until the game tells you have $40,000 and re-book another Dj and keep grinding until you reach $60,000. If it reaches $70,000 collect the money straight away and wait until the game tells you, that you have $10,000 in the safe and re-book another DJ and keep repeating this process. Make sure to change DJs every 90 minutes to avoid losing popularity.

If you have a Terrorbyte.
Spawn it and start up Import/Export source vehicle or Special cargo missions since it's faster to go in rather than going all the way to your CEO office or Master Control Terminal depending where you are on the map.
Always do Headhunter in Los Santos.
The targets are more closer in Los Santos. Blaine County targets are more spread out so it'll take longer to do it there. Make sure your completely in Los Santos since even starting Headhunter in Vinewood Hills, you'll still get Blaine County targets.
Play in free aim lobbies.
The chances of being attacked or griefed by a tryhard is slightly lower than in auto aim. But they are still plenty of them, just not as much as auto aim. Your more likely to get placed in a peaceful lobby and if you do get attacked by a tryhard or griefer then find a new session since they're just wasting your time and to also protect your cargo since you only lose a little bit when you find a new session or close the application.
Also there's less players on free aim than auto aim so your more likely to find a lobby with less players.
PC only, If you see a modder or a cheater in your session.
Find a new session immediately since they may try to give you cheated money and get you falsely banned. They may also try to grief you with the use of mods.
If nightclub safe is full at $70,000.
Make sure to collect the money ASAP so more money can be stored in the safe.
If your flying a Buzzard or any vehicles or aircraft with homing missiles around in a peaceful lobby.
Make sure to use the homing missiles only when you need to use them such as killing enemy NPCs or Headhunter targets. One you finished using them then switch to the machine guns or non homing mode or the barrage missiles (if your in a Hunter) until you need to use the homing missiles again. This is to stop scaring other players who are in another aircraft or in a vehicle on the ground and it's also to prevent accidental firing of the homing rocket that's locked on to friendly players.
Terrorbyte client missions are quick and easy.
Finishing Targeted Data, Diamond Shopping and Robbery in Progress gets you an easy $31,000 in just 3-4 minutes of work. You'll need a drone station to do Targeted data though.
Stealing supplies is NOT worth it anymore if your Bunker and MC Businesses have full upgrades.
Steal missions take too long to do and it can take up to two or three hours to fill all your businesses. You can do the pre step and step 2 to easily pay off your supplies investment and even make some more money in the two and a half hours period before the businesses and Bunker stops producing due to lack of supplies. Good thing about this Casino heist DLC is that they include the Master Control Terminal where you can buy supplies for your businesses in one place instead of having to drive or fly to different locations.
The only time where I recommend stealing the supplies is when you don't have the upgrades yet on your Bunker or MC Businesses.
If you have an associate in your CEO.
If you have friends or a random person in your CEO, after you finished a Terrorbyte mission, do Point to point and share the money for an extra $5,250. Your associate can get paid well and still have fun grinding. Also if your in an MC then promote your friend or associate to Road Captain so they can use the non weaponized Buzzard or Havok (if they own one).
Don't waste money on junk.
One of the main reasons why players go broke and resort to buying Shark cards or give up on the game altogether. You don't need to own everything in the game and get a Deluxo or the latest supercar just because your friends and "everyone" has one. The clothes you only need are heavy heist vests for classic heists, quad lens helmets and scuba outfit. Supercars are only good for driving around the map and for races but not for missions. You can get around the map faster with a Buzzard. If your gonna buy a super car then buy the one that tops Broughy1322's tests.
The steps below are assuming you have the full day off from school or work and want to grind all day.
Note: The main steps are only if you have the CEO Office, Vehicle Warehouse, Bunker (Fully upgraded), MC Clubhouse, MC Businesses (Coke, Meth and Cash all fully upgraded), Nightclub, Terrorbyte and Arcade with Master Control Terminal. Also the tips below the steps are from my experience of grinding and selling cargo.

Pre step: Buy supplies for your Bunker and MC Businesses.

Make sure they're empty so sell whatever you have before buying supplies. Also set spawn location in the Arcade.
  1. Buy Supplies for your Coke, Meth, Cash and Bunker using the Master Control Terminal in the Arcade.

Step 1: Import/Export method (Best time to money ratio).

  1. Source vehicle.
  2. Sell vehicle.
  3. Do Terrorbyte mission.
  4. Source a vehicle.
  5. Do Terrorbyte mission.
  6. Do Headhunter.
  7. Sell vehicle.
  8. Do Terrorbyte mission.
  9. Source vehicle.
  10. Do Terrorbyte mission.
  11. Do Headhunter.
  12. Sell vehicle.
  13. Do Terrorbyte mission.
  14. Repeat 8-13 or move to step 2.

Special cargo method with a warehouse. It's only if you want to mix things up a bit since doing the same I/E method over again can be efficient but boring.
  1. Steal three crates.
  2. Do Terrorbyte mission.
  3. Steal three crates.
  4. Do Terrorbyte mission.
  5. Steal another three crates. You should have nine after you delivered those crates.
  6. Do Terrorbyte mission.
  7. Do one cycle of the I/E method above. (Do 1-5 on the Step 2: Import/Export method).
  8. Sell crates or continue filling up the warehouse.
  9. Repeat 1-8.
  10. (Optional) If continuing filling up the warehouse, repeat 1-9. (You don't have to do the cycle again but it's up to you if you want to)
  11. Sell the crates.
  12. Do Terrorbyte mission.
After finishing a source mission.
If you go the vehicle mission then do Headhunter then do a Terrorbyte mission. If you get vehicle missions back to back and Headhunter's still cooling down then simply do a Terrorbyte mission and source another three crates. If you got a three crate pickup mission, then just do a Terrorbyte mission and source another crate after.

This is a solo method on how to do MC Businesses and Bunker 100% solo.
Sourcing and selling top range cars after selling the MC product and disbanding MC and registering as CEO.Read before doing step 3.
Step 3.
  1. Sell Coke.
  2. Disband MC and register as CEO and steal a top range vehicle and sell straight away.
  3. Sell Meth.
  4. Steal top range vehicle and sell.
  5. Sell Cash.
  6. Steal top range car and sell.
  7. Sell the Bunker.
  8. Steal top range car and sell.
Fast step 3 (If your short on time and need to do something else).
  1. Sell Coke.
  2. Sell Meth.
  3. Sell Cash.
  4. Sell Bunker.
What you'll get when buying one batch of supplies for you Bunker and MC Businesses (Coke, Meth and Cash).
Note: This is with the Equipment and Staff upgrades.

Solo Post OP van tips.
I Know people give up on the MC Businesses all because of the Post OP aka Slow OP vans and I can understand why since the vans are very slow and the drops are far apart but reading this will give you confidence to do the MC Businesses again.
This Post OP Van tips are based off having the Sandy Shores/Grand Senora Desert MC Businesses.

Step 4 (Optional): Continue doing the step 1 I/E cycle or Step 2 Crates cycle.

If you don't want to do this part for whatever reason then skip to step 5.

Step 5: Selling the Nightclub.

Once you finish doing Step 3 or Step 4 then it's time to sell the Nightclub.
  1. Sell all the product via the special orders for a bonus if there is no special orders then sell all.
  2. Source and sell top range Import/Export vehicle.
  3. Do Terrorbyte mission.
  4. Do Headhunter.
  5. If there's money in both the Arcade and Nightclub safe, just collect it, also go to the Casino and spin the wheel.
  6. Wait for the game to auto save and you should be done for the day.

Alternative steps.

Simple method. (For players who don't have lots of time to play but still want to do the steps). Step 2 is not needed.
  1. Do the pre step.
  2. Do Step 1.
  3. Keep repeating Step 1 I/E cycle until the two and a half hour timer is up.
  4. Do fast step 3.
  5. Once you sold the MC Businesses then sell nightclub and you should be done for the day.
Simple Sightseer, Headhunter and Terabyte client mission cycle. (Best to do in an invite only session).
  1. Find a car and sell to Los Santos Customs.
  2. Start Headhunter.
  3. Do Terabyte client mission.
  4. Do Sightseer.
  5. Do Headhunter.
  6. Do Terabyte client mission.
  7. Do Sightseer.
  8. Do Headhunter.

AFK Solo Method.

What you'll need.
Steps for AFK solo method.
  1. Buy supplies for Bunker, Coke, Meth and Cash using the Master Control Terminal in the Arcade. With the Nightclub, set the five technicians to South American Imports, Cargo and Shipments, Pharmaceutical Research, Sporting Goods and Cash Creation first.
  2. Now start an easy contact mission in your apartment and go to the couch where the in game TV is and watch it. Once you sit down, then press the right D-Pad to make sure your watching the in game TV otherwise you may get kicked out due to idling or you could stay indoors and rubberband the right thumbstick so the camera moves in circles. Starting a contact mission and doing this AFK method means you won't pay utility bills and you cannot get raided, on top of that you won't lose any Nightclub popularity.
  3. Keep controller charging.
  4. Leave the console or PC on but turn off your real life TV or monitor your using to play the game. If your playing on you real life TV then you can change channels and watch what program you like.
  5. Do whatever you want outside the game such as school, work or whatever things you need to do, you can even leave your console/PC on overnight if you want.
  6. When your ready to comeback, turn your TV/monitor on and finish the contact mission. If South American Imports and Pharmaceutical Research is full then assign the two other technicians to Organic Produce and Printing and Copying since there's seven types of product and there's only five technicians to collect them assuming you bought all of the technicians. If South American Imports and Pharmaceutical Research isn't full yet then continue to AFK until they're filled up or you can also sell MC Businesses and Nightclub at this point if you want or otherwise continue to number 7.
  7. Once South American Imports and Pharmaceutical Research is finally full, set technicians to Organic Produce and Document Forgery. Start another easy contact mission to AFK again.
  8. Now once Organic Produce and Printing and Copying is filled up (takes 26.6 and 15 hours respectively to fill up), you can either sell the Bunker and MC Businesses or continue to AFK until Sporting Goods and Cargo and Shipments fill up. (Scroll up and follow step 3 or fast step 3 while selling the Bunker and MC Businesses).
  9. Repeat 1-6 or 1-8.
Additional AFK tips.

If board from doing the steps.

Grinding the same steps over and over again can get boring overtime.

The Saints Row 5 wishlist.

So as we now Saints Row 5 is in development. I think it would be cool if we could all include our wishlist for the next Saints Row. He're all I want for the next Saints Row that comes to mind.
Scenario : something between SR2 and SR3. I want something as consistent as SR2's scenario with a nice whackiness touch from the Third. I would love if they could introduce 4 gangs for the next Saints Row so the scenario could be even richer and more interesting then anything they already done. Each gang would have a unique identity with their strengths and weaknesses. I love the idea of "time travel gone wrong". Maybe after SR4, the Saints will be able to travel back into time except that the past is now altered and they are back into a whole new city with no power at all. They will have to grind to dominate the city.
City : I've always like the idea of multiple big islands connected to each other from Saints Row. However, Steelport has been a bit disappointing in terms of size and diversity. I would love if they could make a map at least twice bigger than Steelport so we would need dozens of hours to fully explore. I loved the diversity of environments (Suburbs, Chinatown, University, Poor Neighborhoods, CBDs) of Stilwater, this needs to come back : I can see something like 7 big islands (Steelport had 4) with different combos of environment for each of them. One would be the city center where wealth concentrates with skyscrapers and richer people around and a supermarket like in Saints Row 2 but even bigger with more shops. People from different backgrounds would gather in this place.
One would be the suburbs with individual houses and cozy neighborhood with small patches of poor neighborhoods where roads and houses are dirty and dusty, the density of shops is decreased and clothes are more expensive.
One would be the University with a lot of younger people and a big college campus with unique clothing shops related to it.
One would be more natural, bigger than other islands, with a much smaller population density, rich fauna, dirt roads and camping sites. The scarce population and the lesser presence of officers would allow criminal networks to thrive.
One could be almost exclusively dedicated to tourism with a lot of shops, hotels or casinos, beaches and so forth.
Let's not forget about explorable buildings. There should be much more of them. SR3 and SR4 was lacking number of interesting spots that could have turned to explorable buildings. It adds so much to the life expectancy of a game when there are lots of minor yet interesting things to do.
I would like more diverse PNJs with recognizable status, they can also be stereotypical, that could add to the wacky and unserious side of Saints Row series. Why not add the possibility of pets and wild animals as PNJs ? That doesn't sound that hard to make.
Graphics : I seriously prefer the visual touch of SR3 and SR4. It's cartoonish which is rare for a GTA-Like. I'm sure they will be able to handle it well.
Customization : About character customization, I personally loved the options in Saints Row 3 and 4. I can only hope they push the possibilities even further with maybe extended sliders (body and face) to allow players to have unrealistic and funny characters to keep the funny aspect. More hair customization, maybe a 4th voice for male and female but not a priority + pitch modifier like in SR4, more compliments and taunts + a robotic voice for the lolz.
For the clothes, the layered system from Saints Row 2 MUST come back. It allowed so many possibilities of combinations the next Saints Rows didn't have. Of course with more clothes plus the funny ones from SR3+4. We also need a color palette in additions of preset colors for all the clothes parts. What's better than a few dozens of colors ? Well, 2563 possible colors ! Maybe add the ability to add stickers or logos to clothers to make them more unique or even patterns like strips, leopard, camos to our clothers with unique angles, size and colors to make the possibility of clothing customization almost infinite.
Weapons : I like the idea of weapon customization and upgrades for different parts of the weapon (damage, clip, effects like poison or icy bullets) we need more peesets for weapon skins and custom weapon skins and more weapons, a dozen of each category (melee to special) would be great. About the types of weapons we could have anything, from serious to completely crazy like the Dubstep Gun from SR4. That could suit any type of player. We also need the ability to remove upgrades we bought from a weapon to have the freedom to experience the game like we want to.
Cars : SR has always been consistent when it comes to cars. A total of 150 models (cars, trucks, monstertrucks, bikes, quads, supercars, planes, helicopters, boats + some specials) of very different types sounds like a realistic goal. We also need more developped tuning and not limited to cars. It was very limited for a lot of cars which was too bad.
Shops : We need more diversity, the city has to be full of life, we need more clothing shops, car concessionaries, garages, restaurants, fast foods (while eating is not necessary in a GTA like, it adds life to the game if that makes sense), we need the ability to be drunk or high again on very different products for the fun, just like in SR2 but maybe with longer lasting effects.
Quality Of Life : we need a real day/night cycle with more diverse weather patterns and PNJs patterns (more students in the street right before and after school, less people and more criminality at night) and we need interactions with other characters besides storyline, maybe interactions with PNJs, more diverse events around the city (protests, riots, mobs, gang brawls, house fires, blackouts, traffic jam, road accidents, robbers, stealthy drug dealers, loud arguments between PNJs, illlegal street races, etc...) some can be totally stupid and for the sake of keeping the whacky parts of SR (PNJ falls from the sky from time to time, a casual PNJ terrorizes the streets with a rocket launcher, etc...)
About wanted level, we need the system of SR2 back with a bar slowly filling as we kill more members of the related group to see where we're at. We should be able to see which gang we're fighting on the wanted index (like in SR2). I would like the idea of a 6th level for police and gangs (like in GTA) with very high enemy spawn rate, tough specialists and new type of super enemies or vehicles appearing at the 6th level causing havoc in the city to try to stop us. That would be so insane and fun to be completely overwhelmed by both gang and police at the 6th level.
Activities : we need some activities from SR2 back like the Bodyguard one or the one where we had the sew water truck and we need the ability to do races across the city. We need professionnals' activities back like the ambulance, firefighter activity, we could add something like the pizza delivery man, cop activities, taxi driver and so forth. That would be fun !
Bonus : I like the phone system of Saints Row. We should keep it that way. We need more cheat codes on top of the already existing ones like Boss invincibility, golden gun, car invincibility, etc...) Zombies mode is really fun, the mascot, macs and hoes too and the everyone is drunk too but we also need pedestrian war back, or evil drivers trying to ram into you at any cost, on top of other new ones that could be cool like an All Saints Mode where every PNJ is a Saints member or an All Cop or All Gang mode following the same principle. A Low Gravity mode or Insane Vehicle Speed mode would be crazy too.

glitch and mod GTA online to save the game (please read the first paragraph)

This can apply to a lot of games, but I will take the example of GTA V because is the one I'm most familiar with this problem.
I don´t know if there has been any post saying what I'm saying in this one, but I want to show how the only way of saving the game, is cheating.

I feel like rockstar is really disrespecting, and showing lack of love to it's game.
they are transforming into EA, of course they don't force you to buy shark cards, but they make this game boring so the only way to really have fun, is paying microtransactions, how?
let's start with mc club business: first, you have to supply whatever business you are doing, for this, you have two options, 1- paying the absurd amount of $75000 for supplying it instantly, or doing a reallly time consuming, difficult and repetitive mission, to only supply 1,5 bars of 5. Then, you gotta sell your stock, that has been "generating" passively, to do that, you have to go from Grand Senora Desert to Los Santos, in a really slow vehicle, vulnerable, and, for the worst, other players can see you in the map, they get an alert saying that you are delivering something.
Because of that, people end up making solo public session, crewing the whole purpose of an online game. The problem isn´t the grief, not directly, the real problem is that it takes so long to make that money, that you don't wanna lose it. It's not that much money but it is the most you can get (legitly and without heists)
Ceo (cargo and import/export), they are reppetitive af and have the same energy than mc club.
now, rockstar hasn't made it so bad, let's take the example of the bunker. delivering the weapons, it's actually kinda fun. You get a big truck with a massive spike, you go super fast from point A to point B while you make cop cars fly. You also can get a monster truck and drive it through mountains while being chased by helicopters. They should take things from bunker to implement it on mc clubs.
The nightclub, is not that fun, but you don't have to resuply it and deliveries are fast.

So, why the title? because all the fun stuff is really expensive, the jobs don't pay enough to actually not get tired of the game. So people end up glitching heists, like bogdan (which in 15m you can get at least 400k) or casino heist, people glitch their connection (solo publics), and people mod their accounts and prefere finding a modder who can drop them money, than actually playing the game.
That, seems bad, but I think that if we do it so much, that they can't sell sharkcards anymore, two things can happen: 1- they keep screwing up their game, 2- they improve the game, make it more fun, balanced and fair.
microtransactions, are ruining this game, not because you need them, it's because they affect updates and content.

Long but not worth it. Had a rough day.

Made a Friend

So, a while ago I took a chance and hired some low level, like 20 or smthng. Let him fly my buzzard, and avenger, and took him on a gunnery tour of downtown Los Santos in the back of my Technical Custom.
Had a blast, and knocked out a shitload of missions!
But eventually I got sick and fucking tired of grinding because it's a shitty fucking nightmare and this game sucks dick (because you have to be grinding all the time to buy all the stupid overpriced bullshit so they can sell their microtransactions [this community really needs to take a good hard look at what the Battlefront fans accomplished with BFII and pull their heads out of their asses and do the same here]). So, I quit playing for like a month or two, dude kept messaging me but I was just so sick of grinding so I never jumped in. I even missed the casino update money exploits which could have saved me from needing to grind anymore but honestly fuck that shit. I was so sick of grinding and that'd just be grinding something else more lucrative and the bottom line is I shouldn't fucking have to. You should be able to reasonably expect to unlock all this shit just by playing the game, a reasonable amount and unlocking everything by completing story based missions. So the dude told me about that and I was like, "Nah, fuck it, I'm tired of GTA."
Honestly, if it didn't have the name GTA on it I would've thrown any game like this in barbeque a long ass timed ago. The only reason I don't is cause the name and that GTA is one of my favorite franchises up unti that abomination IV and this griefgrind shitshow. But because of that I keep coming back and trying to enjoy myself here.

Got Trolled by a Low Level?

So I'm finally back for a little bit. And I've been trying to glow up some other low levels but every goddamn time I offer jobs they get rejected even by fucking level 5 and 10s! It's fucking insane, dumb asses.
Well I finally got a guy to accept the offer today, a level 20 or something and I tried to do some missions with him. Sent him a text from my bunker to meet at Paleto Bay. My stock isn't topped off quite yet so I leave the bunker after stocking up weapons and call in my Savage. Check the map and the dudes not on his way. He's sitting still. Ok fine he's in the little town by the lake so right over the hill from me. I'll just go and pick him up.
By time I'm in the air, dude has left the area and is headed South on the freeway along the East side of the map toward the city. Fuck that, I don't wanna get shot down by every asshole out there. So I have to catch up to this dude and land in front of him on the freeway and he ignores me. I think he got killed somehow, maybe cops. But he respawns on the other side of the fwy, I fly over there and try to land again, he's still ignoring me, steals a car and takes off so I fucking killed him to force him to stop then landed where he spawned again. This time I hop out and run around. The dick runs and jumps in the pilor seat before me, fuck. Ok whatever I'll fly copilor and run missiles, maybe he'll be ok at flying for a headhunter mission.
I don't know if it was a glitch or bug or what but my character jumps out as soon as he takes off and he doesn't come back for me! Fucking fucks off with the chopper. Ok so what, maybe he'll go get the targets anyway. I'll steal a car and go the other way, as long as the mission gets done I don't care. He fucking crashes the goddamn chopper. UGh!
So I get another, try to go get him but hes downtown LS now so fuck that, I ignore him kill the targets save the day. He's dead weight. I go back to try to pick him up later. Seems like every time I get this asshole in the fucking bird theres a session wide activity, or a cooldown from someone else's VIP work blocking me from launching my own. All of which is turbo bullshit by the way. Fuck you so much Rockstar, I don't give a fuck if someone else is doing VIP work, I get it if we can't both at the same time by why the fuck should I have to wait for a cooldown when their work is over??? People can ignore the VIP work if they want to and most do most of the time so it's not like I'm forcing constant work on anyone else. Fuck these guys this game is fucking constant bullshit.
So I can't get a mission going because there's constant bullshit going on in the session. And whenever there's not I can't get this prick in the fucking bird! I pick him up in a car and take him to the helipad. He starts a shootout with cops just to fuck my shit up, then he doesn't even get in! Takes the car and fucks off after I take off. So I kill him again. He was in my Technical so I have to pay for that shit. Land again, he's not getting in. I finally get him in but he's started a shootout with cops again. I try to kill them as I'm taking off blow us both up. Get him back to the bird again, he's started a shootout again, so I take off and just fly away to evade the stars before launching the mission but there's two fucking yachts in the water and I get shot down by AI??? You fucking name it. The amount of time I'm dicking around with this guy I could've made 200k just on VIP work! Not to mention I only needed to kill like 10-15 minutes to do a bunker sale which all this has distracted me from.
The whole time I've been texting him. Like I said before "Meet at paleto bay for mission.", "Coming to you.", "Get in the chopper", "How many times do I have to tell you to get in?", "STOP shooting! So we can lauch this mission without the cops fucking up the bird just taking off!!!", after we got shot down by the yacht I texted him "I NEED you to stop messing everything up for 5 minutes!". Finally he says, "Ok." Finally! JFC!!! I get him in the chopper, he doesn't fuck around, I land on a rooftop, tell him we have to wait 3 minutes to start the mission cause of some other bullshit, he waits patiently like a big boy. I tell him to get out of the door gun position and get in the cockpit so he can shoot rockets and get kills, he does it, we start head hunter take off and just as we're getting to the first target he goes offline!
I guess he must've just been trolling me the whole time and I was stupid for even trying to actually get him in on missions. Should've just ignored him altogther as soon as he wasn't convenient. But goddamn. Whenver you're not getting griefed by OPs, you apparently get trolled by obnoxious little shit low levels you're trying to help out???
Mayber he just didn't feel like doing missions. Ok. Then don't accept a job offer! That's what they're for!
Fuck all that shit dude. I was so done.

But Then...

I tried one last time. Ground out a sale and some VIP work on my own for a while. Then I checked the leaderboard and saw a lot of new low levels in the session. Offered jobs, one accepted. Ignored her and did Hostile Takeover first. Then I got a Hold the Wheel vehicle after that was over and she showed up randomly in a buzzard to cover me which was cool. Although nothing happened. I was heading North up the PCH and when the time was winding down she flew ahead to my bunker and went inside. I met her there, launched a sale misssion. One of few I've done with a partner, I aways sell low with just one shipment. So I'm planning to fly the Savage, or have her do it for Close Air Support. But then we got slapped with some bullshit and the game split it into two shipments even though it's such a low amount it always does one, just because there were two of us! God damn I fucking HATE THIS GAME. So there went support. It was that mission where you get a signal jammer if the Insurgents stay close. So of course she takes the fuck off, leaves me behind and sends out the global signal so we're fucked now. God damnit! I was pissed.
What I noticed was that her truck was way faster than mine even though they're both the same truck. I kept wondering how the fuck she was shooting ahead of me and I couldn't keep up even with my pedal to the medal and then I realized the game was fucking cheating! Just magically buffing one of the car's speed for no reason just to fuck us up. And of course the associate's truck is the one with the buffed speed. Because if it was the CEOs obviously they would automatically slow down for the associate to protect their sale. Associate's not gonna give a fuck, they're just going to take off if you give them a magically faster truck. WHich she does.
There is never any end to rockstars jerk off bulshit it is fucking sickening!
We wind up getting attacked by a fucking lazer or hydra or something. I get killed but she makes it. So I've lost half my sale! Then when she delivers the truck, it gives us that stupid fucking bullshit, "You have to leave the area" shit for no reason except to fuck us up a little bit more. And the dumb asshole isn't leaving the fucking area! They're just staying there, shooting it out with the cops! I had to go down there and KILL her myself just to get her out of the area!!!
So I text her what the fuck that was and she says she doesn't speak english. Ok maybe she doesn't and she's using google or smthing and she just didn't do it for the mission brief, I don't know. Whatever. Ok so I call in the Savage, and launch head hunter she actually plays ball and we make some money. After I'm heading back to the bunker to do missions up North, away from the other players. She bails over PCH, and then I land and see what's up. We went swimming together? And showed eachother all out outfits??? It was a nice chill time that killed time till the cooldown was up. Then I called in the Avenger, lauched head hunter again, because it's a cool assed vehicle to do missions with but you need a crew and I never have one. She wasn't getting to go in the cargo hold and get on the gun so I landed, she hopped out and started shooting it out with MerryWeather on foot, I dropped some cluster bombs on 'em, we got inside the shack and killed the VIP. Then she jumped in the pilot seat of the Avenger and I said fuck it, let her fly and got on the gun myself. It's really fucking obnoxios that you don't get objective markers in the Avenger's hold but as long as she points the bird at the bad guys I can pick em out visually on my own. She was dropping bombs, did pretty good, actually took out a vehicle with them though I still had to get the target with the gun.
Actually she probably would've gotten him with the bombs if I hadn't. Took me a while to find him on the gun cam and by time I did she was straffing him with bombs, just my direct fire got to him first.
Then we actually did Hostile Takeover on the ground with just a Dubsta 6x6 which was supprisingly fun. Kinda dumb that when you attack from the air it takes out all the badguys that usually spawn at the altruist camp except the five with the briefcase. So I was supprised by how much more resistence there was. We drove through 'em all the way to the back, I parked with my side facing away from the biker gang so I think she got wasted as soon as she got out. But I had cover, took out the bikers but wound up getting killed by Altruists coming up behind me. She spawned at the gate of the camp and I spawned outside the wall on the opposite side. So she got in first, got the briefcase, and got in the truck. Then she actually waited at the gate for me as I ran halfway around and hopped the fence where I could escaping the cops. We took off in the truck accomplished the mission.
Then a level 700 showed up in one of the weaponized heavy remote turreted armored trucks right near the last objective marker at the vinyard. We had crashed a limo in a river bead and were stuck under the bridge she was parked on top so we had cover. I figured we were about to get griefed so I got my MKII marksman rifle out and took a peak and she was just flipping us off haha!
I guess I'm dumb as shit so I decided to start some shit with her and killed her anyway. I was actually kinda kicking her ass with the marksman rifle, definitely got some good kills. Then she got a Oppressor MKII, motherfucker, and killed me. Then I blasted her off it with the Atomizer! I got it to stop getting griefed and I have been griefed several times since and haven't been able to hit shit with it, at least not those fucking OPs so this was a first for me. Killed her again with the rifle when she respawned, then took off with a stolen car. Made it almost all the way to the airstrip (I was going to talke a chopper to Mount Gordo Facility to escape), before she caught up and took me out with... a Buzzard???? With lockon missiles, what the whole fuck!?!?!? I can never kill anyone with the buzzards lock on missiles! Even an NP fucking C walking at brisk pace and those missiles miss every time! But somehow whe she shoots them they can nail me in a cop car at top speed!
Whatever, I respawn and start knocking her around with the Atomizer which is hilarious, but doesn't cause her to crash. Eventually she kills me again. I respawn and knock her out with an RPG. Jump in a helo nearby and take off for Paleto Bay bunker, skydive out over the bunker, halo land on it and I'm gone! With a healthy handful of kills against the lvl 700 that I started shit with.
All in all one of very few days I've ever played this game and not wanted to fling my X-box out a window. Although the game is pretty much desinged to suck, its bascially Bullying! The Game! Every day you play any game should be a good fun time like this was at the end. But should be like that the WHOLE time. The fact that this was an exceptionally good day when it should be standard means this game still sucks dick.

Entitled friend destroys my iPhone X max over GTA V

So this story begins when the diamonds and resort casino DLC came to GTA.(Sorry for the little backstory It’s just that I block out memories really well.So onto the cast EF-entitled friend ME-Yours truly GF-my girlfriend So I got gta v when it came out biggg shocker I told all my friends and they were happy then EF get gta v so I congratulate him but he gets mad with me because nobody congratulated him the same way as me.So he starts whining about it I tell him to calm down,he...actually calmed the fk down I was so happy beacause he always whines when he is sad af.So two days pass then the first gta v online trailer arrived I was so happy cuz all my friends had the game so we could play together.So the night of the launch of online comes it was a Friday night I was omega ecstatic.We all made our characters but as fate would have it efs PlayStation freezes we all laugh and shrug it off.Six years pass by and diamonds and casino realeases.I play in the casino buy all the cars and a penthouse do the challenges with meh buddies except ef cuz he got grounded for being suspended for cheating on a test.He comes back to school that’s we it started.(sorry for making it too long redditor) Ef”Hey,when are we all going to play gta Me”Sorry ef but we already did the casino missions and we all got the car and money and we’re not going to replay the levels Ef madder than my neighbor when his wife cheated on his bh asaid this”But you said you would wait for me.Me”No I didn’t I said I would buy you the car but you being a selfish ct soo flip off you sport excuse for good for nothing son of bch. Gf”Ohhhh you got snapped(proceeds to laugh her butt off)says”Well then just do the missions on your own.Ef then leaves.The next day my b-day my mom get me Java edition Minecraft and a thirty dollar PS4 gift card for gta and Minecraft and makes me a Trevor,Franklin and Micheal cake(They are the gta v story mode protagonists)She was tires af so she makes some chips and dipThen ef flipping show up I immediately try to kick him out l fail😩He then proceeds to let him buy with my gift card gta money so he can get the car I say” B*ch heck no now go flip off before I deck your butt.He looking scared grabbed my iPhone and bashed it to pieces my mom hears this before she can say a word he tries to grab my gift card.I deck his butt to the ground then punch him in the arms.He leaves with his tail between his legs My mom then pulls out another surprise AN IPHONE 11 MAX PRO I almost fainted when I saw the box. Wardens question

I own wardens, got suspended because of seeing that scripts feature in the menu and had no idea what i was doing and that was my fault. So i got another account and bought the game again because the casino opened, wardens went down for updates, and i got requiem. Used requiem and then tried their disturbed add on without realizing it was a alpha test and, got suspended. So i bought another game and account and requiem updated, i didnt see that minutes later, rockstar changed their cheat detection and guess what, suspended. Today, my first account got released from rockstar jail, and my friends are saying wardens update is released, but I'm a little nervous to use it. Am i safe using it for 2 minutes to simply increase my RP to what it was when i got suspended and unlock some things and give myself some money? Im not going to go crazy, just want to give myself 10 million, increase RP and unlock outfits and car colors.
Note: I'm not blaming the mod menu creators for my suspensions, i simply dont understand the terms they use and am not very good at things like that. GTA is the only game I really play, other than that, im a girl who doesnt game, shops, works, and doesnt understand things in the gaming world, so please explain like im 5 if you have a technical answer. I just want to know if im safe using it for a few minutes.

MAME 0.196, our March release, is here just in time for Easter, and it’s packed with all the goodness you’ve come to expect. In a very exciting development, Team Caps0ff have extracted the C-chip data for Volfied, Superman, Rainbow Islands, and most importantly, Bonze Adventure. This cleanly fixes some of the most long-standing emulation issues in MAME. The improvements to Sega Model 2 have continued, with Virtua Fighter 2 and Motor Raid now considered working. Other Model 2 games are greatly improved as well.
For fans of 8-bit home computers, MAME 0.196 has improved ZX Spectrum family emulation, fixing many graphical glitches. A QuikLoad option has been added to several CP/M-80 machines, allowing .COM files to be loaded directly after the operating system has booted. Emulated IEEE-488 (GPIB) can now be tunnelled over sockets, opening up the possibility to simulate peripherals outside MAME. Interpro progress has continued, and is now at the point where you can boot the rebuild floppy.
Other new working arcade games include Big Buck Hunter, an older joystick-controlled version of Ghox, and a rare unprotected version of Opa Opa. With some fixes to our vector maths, War: The Final Assault is working, and Gunpey has been made playable using decompressed sprite data extracted from a working board. New LCD hand-helds include Dennis the Menace, Double Dragon 3, Jurassic Park, Spider-Man, The Addams Family, The Flash, and X-Men - Project X.
In an emulation first, MAME 0.196 supports QSound DSP emulation. For now, it’s only enabled for the vgmplay driver by default, and it requires a fairly fast computer to emulate at full speed. It will be enabled by default when system requirements are a bit more modest. The SH-4 recompiler has been enabled by default for Dreamcast-derived systems, giving substantial performance improvements.
Of course, there are plenty of other improvements. As always, source and Windows binaries are available from the download page.
