ADELAIDE, Australia – Cooper Energy has signed a new agreement to supply Australian glass products manufacturer O-I with 1 PJ/yr of gas from the Casino Henry fields in the Otway basin offshore Victoria.. Recently, Cooper and Mitsui, recently acquired the onshore Minerva Gas Plant to create a low-cost processing hub for their existing offshore Otway gas production and new Cooper Energy (ASX: COE) announces it has signed a new gas supply agreement with O-I Australia for the supply of gas for 2019 from its Casino Henry gas production in the Otway Basin offshore Victoria. Under the terms of the agreement Cooper Energy will make available to O-I Australia 3 terajoules of gas per day from its share of production from AGL Energy Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Brett Redman said: “AGL has a long history of supporting new domestic supply into the gas market. We are pleased to be supporting Cooper Energy and the Sole Gas Project with this additional purchase in support of their project and the additional purchase from Casino Henry”. ASX-listed Cooper Energy has signed a new gas supply agreement with O-I, an industrial gas user and Australia’s largest manufacturer of glass container products. The gas is to be supplied from Cooper's equity share of production from its Casino Henry operations offshore Victoria, Australia. • Casino Henry contracted for 2020 . Cooper Energy (ASX: COE) announces the signing of new gas supply agreements with AGL Energy from its Sole (Gippsland Basin) and Casino Henry (Otway Basin) gas operations. The Sole gas field is poised to become south-east Australia’s newest source of gas supply when it Cooper Energy is Operator and a 50% interest holder in Casino Henry. Gas supply from Casino Henry is fully contracted for the 2019 calendar year with the O-I contract and the contract with Origin Energy as announced on 20 September 2018.
